Born and raised on the north shore of Hawaii, DJ SWERVE has always had a passion for music. With KTUH being the only radio station available in the 80’s and 90’s, he always aspired to one day become an on-air DJ personality at the college radio station. From 2002-2006 he achieved his dream and created his show called ONTOLOGIC on Saturday nights from 9-12 pm. Working at the college radio station really opened doors in the industry to help him achieve his other goal in life…. To become a nightclub DJ. For many years in the early to mid 2000’s he was spinning at various nightclubs and events 7 days a week.

Then in 2012 he made a life changing decision to move to South Lake Tahoe. From 2012 to 2022 he held residencies at the largest clubs in the Tahoe/Reno area, including PEEK nightclub at Harrahs, Lake Tahoe and LEX nightclub at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Seeing his name, headshot, and logo on the large billboards associated with these large casinos was truly an inspiring life achievement for DJ SWERVE.

Now residing back in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, he moved home in 2022 to be closer to aging immediate family, to assist with their daily needs. Moving back home was also one of the best decisions he has made in a long time as well. “It feels great to be surrounded by family and friends that I grew up with and care for and love so much.”
